Thank you to everyone who attended and voted at the Monday, January 28th meeting. We would like to officially announce that our Executive Board is as follows:

We also wish to welcome new Board Member Christopher Winters to the South End Neighborhood Council.
We will have many exciting opportunities for others to get involved in the South End Neighborhood Council. Our next meeting will be February 25 at 7 p.m. at 4911 S Alaska St, Tacoma, WA 98408. If you would like to be added to the agenda, please email senco253@gmail.com.

They will each be given a few minutes to speak to their interest in the board position and share information about their experience at the January 28 General Meeting. The vote will take place at the same meeting. Residents and those who work in the South End Neighborhood are allowed to vote on the incoming board member. If you are planning to attend, please RSVP to the Facebook event in order to assist with the preparation of ballots.
We recognize that the previous application had outdated submission instructions. If you submitted an application by January 18 but do not see your name listed here, please contact us immediately. Thank you.
Are you considering applying for the South End Neighborhood Council’s current Board opening? Do you live in the South End? Are you at least 18 years old? Do you want to work with others to improve our neighborhood’s access to resources, representation, safety, and more? Come meet with current Board members on Saturday, January 12, and grab an application! We will be at the Moore Library from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. This is an informal meeting, and children are welcome.
The deadline to apply to be on the Board is January 18. Applications are also available online here.
