5/9 STEWART Walk #18 at 9AM :)

Happy May! This month we are looking forward to another walk in another part of the Stewart Neighborhood. Rain or shine, with a strong preference for shine, these South End walks are a great way to start the weekend. All are welcome to join us! 

Saturday, May 9th at 9am meet up at the mural on South 55th Street behind Safeway (707 South 56th Street) where the walk will begin and end.

Your South End Neighborhood Council guides these short monthly walks around South End hot spots where we focus on identifying potential solutions and ideas for neighborhood improvements as we pick up litter along the way.

All ages welcome! Join the upcoming walk and bring your ideas, questions, and/or comments to help us advocate for ways that can make the South End even better.

4/11 PACIFIC AVE (56th-38th) Walk #17 at 9AM!

Spring is springing! This month we are looking forward to another walking experience along our beloved Pacific Avenue. Rain or shine, these South End walks are always great way to start the weekend. All are welcome to join us! 

Saturday, April 11th at 9am meet up at La Huerta (5605 Pacific Avenue) in the NE corner of the parking lot where the walk will begin and end.

We have a jam packed evening with great information for you! Hear from House Speaker Laurie Jenkins, LD 27’s Jake Fey, and Parks Tacoma sharing out regarding the upcoming bond. As always, lots of opportunities to ask questions or find out how you can get involved or volunteer with any number of our South End, community projects🫶.
