Happy harvest month! Let’s all look forward to a colorful and leafy walk in the Whitman neighborhood this month. These South End walks are a great way to start the weekend—come rain or come shine. But we always hope for shine! All are welcome to attend.
Saturday, October 10th at 9am: We will meet at Fire Station #8 (4911 South Alaska Street), where the walk will begin and end.
Your South End Neighborhood Council guides these short monthly walks around South End hot spots where we focus on identifying potential solutions and ideas for neighborhood improvements, all while picking up litter along the way.
All ages welcome! We hope to see you at an upcoming* walk. Please bring your ideas, questions, and/or comments to help us advocate for ways that can make the South End even better.
*If you can’t make it to a walk, but still want to share ideas for SENCo’s ongoing planning committee work, please submit your thoughts using this link. Share it with friends, family, or owls. Who cares? Just share it! Thank you, and your neighborhood thanks you, too.
