Thank You Stewart Neighborhood! 9/16

Saturday was another lovely day in the South End for a walk in the sunshine through the Stewart neighborhood. Thanks to everyone who came out for joining us! Some awesome neighbors and community members met up with us at the Safeway on 56th where we heard a lot of great ideas about improvements about this area specifically. We hope to work with the good folks at Safeway on some key changes that would help make this area safer and more inviting for neighbors. We’ll also be approaching the City about curb ramps around this block (between 55th-56th/Park Avenue-South G Street) for nearby disabled neighbors.

We picked up about 5 bags of litter along the way, and took notes about more ideas for improvements. We hope you can join us on an upcoming walk!
