4th Annual Litter Free 253 Event

Hello South Enders! Now is the time we join forces to clean and beautify Tacoma to celebrate Earth month! Per usual, this volunteer led, city wide event is sponsored by all 8 of your Neighborhood Councils, with support from the City of Tacoma and Metro Parks cooperation. Sign up today at one of our many South End locations. Alling Park, Hosmer, Wapato, S 84th and Pacific, Stafford(SUN Alliance), Blueberry Park, Fire Station#10, and the Lincoln District!

4/8 South End Walking Tour #14 ALLING PARK

Saturday, Apr 8th at 9am meet at the Alling Park sign on the SE corner of S 61st St and S Sheridan Ave where the Walking Tour will begin & end.

Your South End Neighborhood Council guides short monthly walking tours of South End hot spots to identify potential solutions at the ground level.

All ages welcome! Join upcoming Walking Tour #14 through the Alling Park neighborhood: Bring your ideas, questions, & comments about the neighborhood to help us advocate for ways to make the South End even better.

Another first-Saturday-after-the-first-Monday of the month, and it was another beautiful morning for a Walking Tour in the South End! Having just missed the early morning rain, we picked up litter along the way as we took notes about improvement ideas for the area. We hope you’ll join us for a Hot Spot Walking Tour in the future!
